How did Tunku Abdul Rahman solve the problem of unity?

From the problem analysis with 4W1H we have found multiple cause relating to the problem of unity in Malaysia. From further research we have found that one of the prime effort that brought a difference to the unity problem in Malaysia is the introduction of The Rukun Negara.

The Rukun Negara is a set of national principles that was created by Tunku Abdul Rahman, who was the first Prime Minister of Malaysia. The purpose of the Rukun Negara is to promote national unity and good governance in the country, as well as to foster a sense of national identity among Malaysians. It was first declared on September 4, 1970 at the National Day celebrations, it is a set of five principles which are:

1. Belief in God:

Malaysia is a multi-religious country, and this principle acknowledges that belief in God is an important aspect of the country's culture and heritage. It is meant to respect the nation, and to remind citizens to be guided by their religious and moral values in their daily lives.

2. Loyalty to king and country:

This principle emphasizes the importance of loyalty and patriotism towards the king and the country. The king is the symbol of national unity and continuity, and this principle encourages citizens to be proud of their country and to defend its interests.

3. Supremacy of the Constitution:

This principle states that the Constitution is the supreme law of the land and that all citizens must abide by it. This principle is meant to establish the principle of the rule of law and to ensure that everyone is equal under the law.

4. The rule of law:

This principle emphasizes the importance of the rule of law, which is the principle that everyone is subject to the law and that no one is above it. It is meant to ensure that everyone is held accountable for their actions and that justice is administered fairly.

5. Good behavior and morality:

This principle stresses the importance of good behavior and morality in maintaining a harmonious and stable society. It encourages citizens to be responsible, honest, and respectful of others.

The Rukun Negara is taught in schools and universities throughout Malaysia as a way to instill national values and promote civic education. It is also recited by Malaysians on national holidays and other special occasions as a reminder of the country's core values and principles. The Rukun Negara has been widely accepted by the people and it has played an important role in the nation-building process. It has been considered as a national identity, an expression of the aspirations and aspirations of the people, and as a source of inspiration for the nation.
